Our charter fishing boat Kingfisher is moored in Newhaven, East Sussex. She is a 33ft Starfish fitted with a 350HP Ford Sabre turbo engine. Charter fishing boat Kingfisher’s design gives a comfortable ride and a speed of up to 18 knots. Being sea kindly Kingfisher rides well both at anchor and whilst drifting over the wrecks. There is plenty of deck space for 12 sea anglers and your fishing tackle.

To ensure we are sea fishing where we are meant to be, our charter fishing boat Kingfisher is fitted with the latest navigation equipment including Koden colour fish finder, Lawrence GPS and plotter, Garmin GPS and plotter and Furuno GPS and plotter.

Fishing charter boat Kingfisher is licensed for up to 60 miles offshore and has all the safety equipment needed.

We provide hot drinks free of charge when sea conditions allow.

For the summer Bass fishing, charter boat Kingfisher is equipped with a Live Bait Tank.

When sea fishing the ideal number is 8. We are however licensed for up to 12 sea anglers but we won’t take more than 10. This is for your comfort.

For other activities 12 is usually fine but if in doubt please ask.

John Webster is the proud owner and skipper of the Newhaven charter boat Kingfisher. He has been sea fishing, fly fishing and coarse fishing for many years and has been lucky enough to turn his hobby into a living!
